April 18th – Join me and the Fungus Federation of Santa Cruz for a FREE presentation on the amazing range of permanent dyes found in Californian fungi. The meeting runs from 7-9 pm.

Refreshments will be provided and informal mushroom ID from 7:00 – 7:30.  A discussion of upcoming events will precede our speaker, Alissa Allen.  She will present an introduction to the full spectrum of permanent color that can be extracted from mushrooms found in the the Bay Area and Northern Coastal California. She will address safety, ethical harvest, the dyeing process and identification of dye species.
