Northern California is home to a vast range of fungal ecosystems, from the wet coastal redwoods to the oak-laden interior. We'll work with a selection of the finest species that make up the brilliant Northern California dye palette.
Explore all aspects of mushroom and lichen dyeing, including field study, foraging, testing for color, special recipes for dye species groups, and more! We'll dive deep into the process of ethically harnessing the brilliant color found in the Northern California fungal fibershed.
